Study Questions
Point 1 – Godly Wisdom Equips, Empowers, and Escorts Us
Proverbs 2:3–11; James 1:5
Proverbs 2:4 compares wisdom to hidden treasure. What are some things in life that people chase with more passion than wisdom? How can we reframe our priorities to “seek wisdom like silver”?
James 1:5 promises God gives wisdom generously when we ask. How often do you intentionally ask God for wisdom in prayer? What keeps us from doing this more?
Point 2 – Godly Wisdom Transforms Our Daily Living
Proverbs 8:11, 13, 20; Ephesians 5:15–16; Romans 12:2
Ephesians 5:15–16 tells us to walk wisely because the days are evil. In what daily habits (work, family, time management, speech) is God inviting you to walk differently in wisdom?
Romans 12:2 says wisdom transforms us by renewing our minds. Where have you seen God already reshaping your thinking or desires? Where do you still feel resistance?
Point 3 – Godly Wisdom Changes Others and Creates a New Culture
Isaiah 33:6; Matthew 7:24; Colossians 3:16; James 3:17
Colossians 3:16 speaks of wisdom shaping community worship and teaching. How does… or can… Godly wisdom change not just you, but the way your family, church, school, or workplace experiences life together?
James 3:17 describes wisdom as pure, peaceable, gentle, and full of mercy. How can we ensure that when we speak truth, we do it with this kind of tone? Why does this matter for creating a new culture?
