1. What does it mean to “do the hidden work” of foundation building?  Where does most of your time go in terms of your life: foundation building or other things? What would need to change for you to do this?
2. How does one move from just hearing to doing what Jesus commands us?  What has this looked like lately for you?
3. What does it look like to regard Jesus as the ultimate authority?  In what ways are we tempted to just take from Jesus’ teachings a la carte?  What would need to change if we didn’t do that?
4. What is one thing God is calling you to do, remember or change in response to what you have heard today?
