This week, Greg Frankenfield continues our journey through Matthew. Just as we did in the service today, first say a prayer asking the Holy Spirit to use the text to speak to you. Then, read Matthew 8:14-17 twice and after each reading take a few moments to reflect on the text. What is it saying about Jesus and what is it saying to you?

Sermon Passage: Matthew 8:14-17

Study/Discussion Questions:

1. Think about Jesus' mission on earth. How would you describe it? Do you thihk of yourself as a disciple of Jesus? Sharing in His mission?
2. Think about you: your make up, your strengths, and abilities. Do you have any sense of what The Lord created you for? What is your calling?
3. If you are unsure..., what do others people noticed in you? Do members of your Circle Church group see indicators of what might be your calling. And remember it makes no difference how old you are, how young you are...you have a calling, a part of Christ's mission today.
4. Take time to encourage and pray for each other's freedom to act on your unique callings, your part of the Lord's mission.
